Airport Security Scanners - 2 reasons the USA Founding Fathers would SPIT on the idea…

So there’s all this hype running around about AIRPORT SECURITY SCANNERS right now.  People all over America are talking about how disruptive they are and how repulsive they are to your individual liberties.  Then a media propaganda machine like James Carville goes on air and says, “Let me buy a [security] card, then go and measure my penis, and let me get on the airplane.” REPULSIVE.

Here are 5 simple reason the United States Founding Fathers would SPIT on the idea of Airport Security Scanners:

#1 - Ever heard of the 4th amendment?

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated; and no Warrants shall issue but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be
searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

#2 - Association of Asia Pacific Airlines says it best:

“Treating each of the six million passengers who fly every day as potential terrorists and subjecting them to virtual strip searches . . . borders on the absurd, particularly when compared to our approach to public security in other aspects of our daily lives,” AAPA said. “Doing so comes at a cost, already measured in tens of billions of dollars annually.

“While new screening technologies are constantly under evaluation, including full-body scanners and automatic explosive detection systems, there is insufficient evidence regarding their effectiveness to justify their immediate deployment, not to mention unresolved health and privacy issues.”

Another observer says, “But, what can you do? Americans and Canadians are nice people and they will do anything because they were told to do so and because they don’t know any different.” - Rafi Sela, the president of AR Challenges, a global transportation security consultancy.

It’d be nice to see American’s stop giving up their civil liberties.
