Albert Einstein quotes: Was Albert Einstein a libertarian?
Read these Einstein quotes and ask yourself - which political party would Mr. Einstein be affiliated with in the 21st century? It’s apparent that he despised war and evil.
Government
“Anyone who doesn’t take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted in large ones either.”
How many lies can we catch our current administration in? How many lies did Democrats give to get elected? Republicans? It’s apparent our whole voting system is one big fat lie.
“Force always attracts men of low morality.”
“In matters of truth and justice, there is no difference between large and small problems, for issues concerning the treatment of people are all the same.”
“Nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced.”
“Sometimes one pays most for the things one gets for nothing.”
“The attempt to combine wisdom and power has only rarely been successful and then only for a short while.”
“The hardest thing to understand in the world is the income tax.”
“The road to perdition has ever been accompanied by lip service to an ideal.”
“Never do anything against conscience even if the state demands it.”
WAR
“Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism – how passionately I hate them!”
“It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder.”
“You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war.”
Problem solving
“All that is valuable in human society depends upon the opportunity for development accorded the individual.”
“Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are even incapable of forming such opinions.”
“It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education.”
“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
That is my favorite Albert Einstein quote of all time because we OBVIOUSLY, at least in government, try to fix the problem by causing more of the same…. bailouts, Medicare, endless war, nation building… the list just keeps going and going. Debt. Debt. And more Debt.
It’s too bad Mr. Einstein isn’t around today. He and Presidential candidate Ron Paul would have wonderful ideas to discuss!

einstien devoted his entire life to research and never was that rich i believe, no scientists today do that they are pressured to make money now by big corparations and do this or no money. well i think enstein today would be probally digging ditches but i would say he would be independent which means you would never have heard of him.
It’s a simple answer.
If Albert Einstein were alive today and knew the threat of climate change, the rise of corporate power in America, the lack of education in the general public enough for them to properly educate their own children at home, he would not side with Ron Paul at all.
He would be with Nelson Mandela, Mohandas Gandhi, the Dalai Lama, etc.
He would be with the GREEN PARTY (lower left quadrant of the political compass; Social Libertarians)
