You don’t really understand the constitution. Separation of church and state doesn’t mean a religious leader can’t hold a political office. It simply means that a person should not use their political office to force any type of religion on others.

Looks like Ed Darrell would have lost his ‘wager’. Why would he have never spoken about these principles again because he is a leader of the LDS church? Please do your research before making unsubstantiated statements.

This is from the Mormon’s own scriptures: D&C 134:2 We believe that no government can exist in peace, except such laws are framed and held inviolate as will secure to each individual the free exercise of conscience, the right and control of property, and the protection of life.
