Ron Paul Twitter Experiment – would you vote to abolish the IRS income tax?
Everyone knows how I feel about Ron Paul and his economic philosophy. He’s the most honest man in Congress.
So far tonight, I’ve been having a twitter experiment – and the question was simple.
Would you vote to abolish the income tax?
The results thus far, in 15 minutes, have been this – 19 “YES”, 1 “I don’t know”, 2 “And replace it with what?”
See that’s the best part, we don’t have to “replace anything!”
So, leave your comment and let the world know once and for all.

While I am open to the arguments I’ve heard I am not sure I buy the line of “Unconstitutional Tax”, but if given the chance I would most definitely abolish the Income Tax, at least on a federal level. My state, Tennessee, already does without an income tax, using a much more fair sales tax instead. I would not oppose a federal sales tax if it was less than 10%, but as a strong believer in limited, Constitutional government I believe they could do everything they are supposed to do with even less.
The documentary “Freedom to Fascism” goes a long way to explaining how the income tax is illegal..
~*~ And Ron Paul is in this film ~*~
If you are at all interested in why this tax should be revoked you will find this documantary very interesting.

I want to know how to keep my employer from withholding money for income tax. How do I do that?
As far as abolishing income tax, not necessary if the law is kept. However, the taxation amendment is not even legal in the first place. It was not properly ratified. We have been bilked for decades. Ugh. So we are kept in slavery, keeping jobs to eat and pay taxes, without the freedom to totally enjoy the fruits of our labors. It is a travesty. Why aren’t we rising up?

I’ve been interested to see the long winded responses Americans have about this issue. It seems that the majority of Americans are inadequately educated on this issue.
Some ignorant Twitter responses:
“What about paying our police and fireman?”
“What are we going to replace it with?”
“But won’t the IRS put me in jail?”
Drop a comment and let me know what your stance is on the IRS and why you feel that way.
